Rugs, whether handmade or machine-loomed, are manufactured to fit specific size categories. If you can stick to a standard size, that will enable you to pick from the largest possible selection of our merchandise. The sizing list and area rug in-house illustrations below will help you to find the standard size that best fits your space, as well as give you some layout ideas in regards to furniture and rug placement.
Standard Rectangle Sizes:
*2x4, 3x5, *4x6, *5x8, 6x9, 6.5x9.5, *8x10/11, 9x12, 10x14, 12x15
Standard Round Sizes:
3x3, 4x4, *5x5, * 6x6, *8x8
Standard Runner Sizes:
*2.5x8, 2.5x10, 2.5x12, & Longer
Keep in mind that while a standard size may not work for you, many designs are made in oversized categories.
